An Act To Improve the Safety of School Buses
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §2305, sub-§5 is enacted to read:
5. Bumpers. A school bus purchased after January 1, 2017 must be equipped with bumpers that conform to United States Department of Transportation requirements for bumpers on semitrailers.
