Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 2-A in paragraph B in subparagraph (6) in the first line (page 1, line 23 in L.D.) by striking out the following: " ; and" and inserting the following: ' ;'
Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 2-A in paragraph B in subparagraph (7) in the first line (page 1, line 24 in L.D.) by striking out the following: " needs." and inserting the following: ' needs; and'
Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 2-A in paragraph B by inserting after subparagraph (7) the following:
(8) An ecosystem-based characterization of each species under consideration.
SUMMARY
This amendment adds to the bill the requirement that each species' fishery management plan must include an ecosystem-based characterization of the species under consideration.
