An Act To Exempt the Sale of the United States Flag from the Sales Tax
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §1760, sub-§95 is enacted to read:
95. United States flag. Sales of the United States flag as long as the flag is made entirely of cloth.
SUMMARY
This bill exempts sales of the United States flag made entirely of cloth from sales tax.
