Fiscal Detail and Notes
	Prohibiting the use of a handheld mobile telephone while operating a motor vehicle is expected to increase fine revenue by $1,430,000 annually, resulting in a General Fund revenue increase of $248,160 in fiscal year 2013-14 and $1,240,800 in fiscal year 2014-15.  This bill also includes a General Fund appropriation of $19,003 in fiscal year 2013-14 and $56,013 in fiscal year 2014-15 for one Assistant Clerk position for the Judicial Department to process the anticipated increase in the number of violations.
