Fiscal Detail and Notes
The amendment removes the General Fund appropriations of $56,044 in FY 2013-14 and $59,692 in FY 2014-15 and increases the Other Special Revenue Funds allocations by those same amounts to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to account for a revised revenue estimate of the 3¢ surcharge assessed on plastic bags at the point of retail sale.  Revenue realized by the DEP through this surcharge is estimated to cover the administrative costs associated with the Plastics Recycling Fund program, which will be $92,017 in FY 2013-14 and $97,911 in FY 2014-15.
