Representative Lynne A. Williams |
Rep. Lynne Williams is serving her second term in the Maine House of Representatives. A graduate of Merrimack College, Williams subsequently received a Ph.D in Social Psychology from the University of Southern California with a specialization in conflict resolution. After graduate school, she worked as an organizer in Southern California and as a fundraiser and campaign advisor for progressive candidates. In 1983-1984, she was on the national staff of Senator Gary Hart’s presidential campaign. Williams subsequently completed her J.D. and is currently a solo practice attorney, specializing in marijuana business law and civil rights. Williams lives in Bar Harbor and has held multiple positions on Town committees, including past Chair of the Planning Board, and current Chair of the Harbor Committee.
