| | | Current law requires that school administrative units that | | place students in out-of-district placements receive adjustments | | that offset the costs of those placements. However, the funds | | for those adjustments are limited to the amount appropriated by | | the Legislature. Appropriations for the past several years have | | addressed less than 25% of the amount needed to fully fund this | | adjustment. This bill appropriates the funds needed to fully | | fund the out-of-district adjustment costs. |
