| | | Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §574-A, as amended by PL 1989, c. 508, §9, is | | further amended by adding at the end a new paragraph to read: |

| | | This subchapter does not apply to any parcel of forest land | | that is owned by a public municipal corporation and located | | outside its corporate limits and confines. |
|
| | | This bill removes from participation in the Maine Tree Growth | | Tax Law any forest land that is owned by a public municipal | | corporation that is located outside the limits of that public | | municipal corporation. |
