Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the
General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SUMMARY

 
This bill appropriates $20,000 to the Department of
Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources in each of fiscal years
1999-00 and 2000-01. These funds are to be provided as grants to
statewide agricultural organizations for the purpose of
furthering the development of agricultural education programs
across the State.
