Sec. 1. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SUMMARY

This bill appropriates $25,000 to the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management in each of fiscal years 1999-00 and 2000-01 for the Advisory Commission on Women Veterans to cover the costs of holding public hearings, contracting with a consultant to do public survey work, advertising, rent and attending national meetings.
