Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the
General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act.

MAINE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION

For Indian archeological site
monitoring to discourage
unauthorized ground disturbance
and other vandalism.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill provides an additional $10,000 annually to the Maine
Historic Preservation Commission to use for Indian archeological
site monitoring.
