Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 34-A MRSA §3036-A, sub-§10 is enacted to read:

 
10.__Geographic availability.__The commissioner shall ensure
that the supervised community confinement program is operational
in all geographic regions of the State.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill requires the Commissioner of Corrections to ensure
that the supervised community confinement program is operational
in all geographic regions of the State.
