| | | Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §2251, sub-§10, as enacted by PL 1993, c. 683, Pt. | | A, §2 and affected by Pt. B, §5, is amended to read: |

| | | 10. Suspension. Pursuant to chapter 23, the Secretary of | | State may suspend or revoke the motor vehicle driver's license | | and certificate of registration of a person who is required to | | make a report and fails to do so, fails to do so within the | | required time period or who knowingly fails to give correct | | information required on a report. If a license is suspended or | | revoked, the Secretary of State is required to notify the | | offender within 10 working days of suspension and revocation and | | is required to provide necessary information concerning | | reinstatement procedures and applicable reinstatement fees. |
