| Sec. 1. Review of laws and rules for Americans With Disabilities Act compliance. |
| Resolved: That the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife |
| shall review all current state laws and rules concerning fishing, |
| hunting and trapping for the purpose of ascertaining which laws |
| and rules are not in compliance with the federal Americans With |
| Disabilities Act, 42 United States Code, Section 12101 et seq. |
| The commissioner shall identify all rules and regulations that |
| are not in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act |
| and shall report the findings of this investigation to the Joint |
| Standing Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife by January |
| 15, 2000. The commissioner's report shall also identify any |
| statutory or regulatory changes necessary to obtain compliance |
| with the Americans With Disabilities Act. Any rules proposed to |
| obtain compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act are |
| routine technical rules as defined in the Maine Revised Statutes, |
| Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter II-A. |
