Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7076, sub-§6, as amended by PL 1993, c. 419, §3, is
further amended to read:

 
6. Armed Forces domiciled in Maine. A combination fishing and
hunting license must be issued upon payment of $15 for 1993 and
$20 for 1994 and every year thereafter, plus the issuing fee, to
a member of the Armed Forces of the United States on active duty
who is permanently stationed outside of the State, and to that
person's spouse and children, if that person can show proof that
that person's home of record, as recorded in his that person's
service records, is Maine. That person must be issued all other
licenses or permits at resident fees. The license is valid during
the year of issue. A combination fishing and hunting license
must be issued upon payment of $15, plus the issuing fee, to the
spouse and children of a member of the Armed Forces of the United
States on active duty, if that member can show proof that the
member's home of record, as recorded in the member's service
records, is Maine.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill provides a complimentary hunting and fishing license
to a member of the Armed Forces of the United States on active
duty whose home of record is Maine and a license to a family
member for $15, plus the issuing fee.
