| This bill prohibits executive employees from taking part in |
| activities that relate to pending legislation or rulemaking or |
| preparing or presenting testimony before a legislative or |
| governing body or board if a conflict of interest exists or a |
| potential conflict of interest exists. It also requires an |
| employee to immediately notify the employee's direct supervisor |
| in the event that a potential conflict of interest arises. |
