| | Sec. 9. 5 MRSA §4573-A, sub-§2, as enacted by PL 1995, c. 393, §21, is | amended to read: |

This Except as provided in section | 4553, subsection 10, paragraph G, this subchapter does not | prohibit a religious corporation, association, educational | institution or society from giving preference in employment to | individuals of its same religion to perform work connected with | the carrying on by the corporation, association, educational | institution or society of its activities.
