Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §2054, sub-§2, ¶H is enacted to read:

 
H.__A funeral escort vehicle may be equipped with a flashing
light.__The light must emit a purple beam of light.__The
flashing light may be used only when the vehicle is used in
a funeral procession.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill allows funeral escort vehicles to be equipped with
flashing purple lights in a funeral procession.
