| | | Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7457, sub-§1, ¶J is enacted to read: |

| | | J.__The Saturday preceding the residents-only Saturday, as | | designated in paragraph E, subparagraph (3), must be an open | | day for junior hunters only.__The adult accompanying a | | junior hunter is not allowed to hunt or carry a firearm. |

| | | This bill provides an extra day of hunting for junior license | | holders by designating the Saturday preceding the residents-only | | Saturday as a day for junior hunters only. |
