Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 7 MRSA §4041, sub-§6 is enacted to read:

 
6.__Definition.__For purposes of this section, the term
"animal" does not include cats.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill exempts cats from the provisions of the animal
trespass laws.
