Sec. 1. The Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall establish a multi-year
experimental smelt stocking program. Resolved: That the Commissioner of
Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall select 3 ponds in different
regions of the State to implement a controlled, multi-year
experimental program to test the effectiveness of stocking live
smelt; and be it further

 
Sec. 2. Reporting date established. Resolved: That the Commissioner of
Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall report the effectiveness of
the experimental stocking program to the Legislature by November
1, 2004.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve establishes a multi-year experimental program to
test the effectiveness of stocking live smelt in the waters of
the State.
