Sec. 1. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Act.

Maritime Academy - Operations

Provides funds for upkeep of the schooner Bowdoin. These funds may be used only for maintenance and preservation costs of the schooner Bowdoin and not for any other purpose. The Maine Maritime Academy is authorized to accept private contributions as match to supplement funds appropriated by the Legislature for this purpose.

SUMMARY

This bill provides funds to the Maine Maritime Academy to be used only for maintenance and preservation costs of the schooner Bowdoin and to be matched by private contributions for the same purpose.
