| | | Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §6101, sub-§2, ¶D is enacted to read: |

| | | D.__Notwithstanding the provisions in paragraph B, a school | | administrative unit may release information in any form | | relating to an employee or former employee to another school | | administrative unit when the other school administrative | | unit requests the information for the purpose of a reference | | for employment. |

| | | This bill allows a school administrative unit to release | | confidential information about an employee or former employee to | | another school administrative unit for the purpose of a reference | | for employment. |
