Sec. 1. 21-A MRSA §753-B, sub-§9 is enacted to read:

9.__Restrictions on pencils.__The clerk may not include a pencil when issuing an absentee ballot and return envelope to an applicant.

SUMMARY

This bill prohibits clerks from sending out pencils with absentee ballots.
