Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 14 MRSA §1213, sub-§2, śC is enacted to read:

 
C.__Persons 70 years of age and older who do not wish to
serve on a jury may be excused from jury service.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill allows persons 70 years of age and older who do not
wish to serve on a jury to be excused from jury service.
