Sec. 1. 34-B MRSA §15003, sub-§10 is enacted to read:

10.__Residential and community-based services.__The department shall provide cost-based residential and community-based services in cooperation with the Department of Human Services and in accordance with section 15002 to all children in the State who qualify for those services.

SUMMARY

This bill requires the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services to coordinate with the Department of Human Services to provide cost-based residential and community-based services to all children who qualify for those services through the Children's Mental Health Program.
