Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §1555-B, sub-§12 is enacted to read:

12.__Minimum prices.__A dealer or distributor of tobacco products shall provide to all retailers and retail outlets a minimum price for each package of tobacco products.__A retailer or retail outlet may not sell any tobacco products for a price below the minimum price set by the dealer or distributor.

SUMMARY

This bill requires dealers and distributors of tobacco products to set minimum prices below which their products may not be sold.
