| | | Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §1253, sub-§6 is enacted to read: |

| | | 6.__Physical examination.__Any physical examination required | | by the Secretary of State for the issuance or renewal of a | | commercial license may be performed by a licensed physician, | | physician assistant or nurse practitioner. |

| | | This bill provides that a physician, physician assistant or | | nurse practitioner may perform any physical examination required | | by the Secretary of State for issuance or renewal of a commercial | | driver's license. |
