| | | Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §1406, sub-§§2-A and 7 are enacted to read: |

| | | 2-A.__Expiration of license; persons 65 years of age and over; | | optional license.__A person 65 years of age or over has the | | option of a one-year license, which expires at midnight on that | | license holder's birthday. |

| | | 7.__Fee; optional one-year license.__The fee for the one-year | | optional license for persons 65 years of age and older is $4.50. |
|
| | | This bill adds an optional one-year license for persons 65 | | years of age and older, prorated accordingly. |
