| Sec. 1. Coordination of compilation. Resolved: That the Children's |
| Cabinet, established by the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, |
| section 19131, shall coordinate through Communities for Children |
| the compilation of a resource guide containing information to |
| assist runaway youth to provide to crisis intervention hotlines |
| in the State. The resource guide must provide information on |
| "safe houses," shelters and foster homes available in areas |
| throughout the State. The guide must also include a listing of |
| services available, including, but not limited to, outreach |
| counseling. In compiling this resource guide, the Children's |
| Cabinet, through Communities for Children, shall consult with |
| child abuse and neglect councils and agencies throughout the |
| State. |
