| | | Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §5801-A is enacted to read: |

| | | Tuition students are entitled to all privileges and benefits | | and are subject to the same rules as resident students of a | | receiving school administrative unit or other enrolled students | | of a receiving private school. |
|
| | | Current law provides tuition students from the unorganized | | territory with the same privileges and benefits as other students | | in the receiving public or private school. |
|
| | | This bill broadens the law to apply to all tuition students, | | regardless of whether the tuition student resides in a | | municipality or unorganized territory. |
