An Act to Fairly Distribute the Payment of Real Estate Transfer Taxes

4853.__The Treasurer of State shall credit the remainder of the
net receipts to the General Fund.
SUMMARY
Beginning in 2002, this bill increases the portion of the real
estate transfer tax that is retained by the county to 25% from
10%, phased in over 5 years.
