Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 17-A MRSA §905-A, sub-§5, as enacted by PL 1999, c. 190, §3,
is amended to read:

 
5. Misuse of identification is a Class D C crime.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill increases the classification of the crime of misuse
of identification from a Class D crime to a Class C crime.
