| | | Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6728 is enacted to read: |

| | | §6728.__Daily catch limit; Cobscook Bay |

| | | It is unlawful for a holder of a scallop boat license to take | | more than 180 pounds per day or the equivalent measured by 20 | | bushels of scallops or 13 standard totes of scallops in Cobscook | | Bay. |

| | | The purpose of this bill is to place a limitation on the daily | | catch of scallops in Cobscook Bay for any person holding a | | scallop boat license. |
