| A representative of a labor organization elected to represent |
construction workers in the State may enter a construction work |
site in the State at reasonable hours to inspect the work site |
for possible violations of labor laws if the organization has |
received a complaint alleging such a violation of law.__The |
representative may interview workers, examine the physical |
characteristics of and the operations at the work site and |
inspect records relating to work at the work site whether the |
records are held at the work site or at any other place.__If, |
following the inspection or interview or review of records, the |
representative has reason to believe that a violation of law is |
occurring or has occurred at the work site, the representative |
shall report the belief to the proper state or federal agency |
with authority to address any such violation and that agency |
shall promptly investigate the possible violation.__The |
representative shall maintain the confidentiality of information |
contained in records examined by the representative, in the same |
manner in which representatives of the Department of Labor are |
required to maintain confidentiality. |
