| | | Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §2660-E, sub-§4 is enacted to read: |

| | | 4.__Fee reimbursement.__The department shall reimburse | | restaurants from the operation fee assessed under this section | | the cost of annual water testing for bacteria and nitrate | | content. |

| | | This bill requires the Department of Human Services to | | reimburse restaurants from the operation fee for the drinking | | water program for the cost of annual testing for bacteria and | | nitrate content. The cost of this test is estimated at $22 per | | year. |
