Sec. 1. 10 MRSA c. 229 is enacted to read:

IMPORTED GOODS

§1500-G.__Importation of wreaths prohibited

A person may not import a wreath made in Canada into this State.__A person who violates this section commits a civil violation for which a forfeiture of $100 and $10 per wreath for a first offense and $500 and $50 per wreath for a 2nd and each succeeding offense must be adjudged.

This bill provides that a person may not import a wreath made in Canada into this State.
