Sec. 1. 5 MRSA §82-B is enacted to read:

§82-B.__Laws of the State available electronically

The Secretary of State shall make the Maine Revised Statutes available to the public in electronic format on CD-ROM.__The Secretary of State may charge a minimal fee sufficient to cover the costs of reproducing the Maine Revised Statutes in this format.

SUMMARY

This bill requires the Secretary of State to make the Maine Revised Statutes available to the public at cost.
