Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7077, sub-§1, as repealed and replaced by PL 1995, c. 346, §4 and affected by PL 1999, c. 547, Pt. B, §§78 and 80 is repealed.

Sec. 2. 12 MRSA §7077, sub-§1-A, as amended by PL 1999, c. 320, §1 and c. 403, §5, is repealed.

Sec. 3. 12 MRSA §7077, sub-§1-B, as amended by PL 1999, c. 320, §§2 and 3, is repealed.

Sec. 4. 12 MRSA §7077, sub-§8 is enacted to read:

8.__Commissioner to adopt rules governing suspension, revocation and reinstatement of hunting and fishing licenses.__ The commissioner shall adopt rules, which are major substantive rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter II-A, governing the suspension, revocation and reinstatement of hunting and fishing licenses by the commissioner.

Sec. 5. 12 MRSA §7077-A, as amended by PL 1995, c. 679, §2, is repealed.

Sec. 6. 12 MRSA §7077-B, as amended by PL 1997, c. 432, §16, is repealed.

Sec. 7. 12 MRSA §§7077-C and 7077-D, as enacted by PL 1995, c. 346, §12, are repealed.

Sec. 8. 12 MRSA §7079, as amended by PL 1987, c. 317, §6, is repealed.

Sec. 9. 12 MRSA §7108, sub-§5, as reenacted by PL 1985, c. 819, Pt. B, §5, is repealed.

Sec. 10. 12 MRSA §7171, sub-§5, as enacted by PL 1989, c. 913, Pt. B, §3, is amended to read:

5. Effect of revoked or suspended license. Notwithstanding this section, a person whose license to deal in live smelts and baitfish has been revoked or suspended pursuant to section 7077, or 7078 or 7079, may not assist another dealer in selling or transporting live smelts and baitfish.
