NURSING EDUCATION AND RECRUITMENT

§12151. Definitions

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.

1.__Authority.__"Authority" means the Finance Authority of Maine.

2.__Chief executive officer.__"Chief executive officer" means the Chief Executive Officer of the Finance Authority of Maine.

3.__Resident.__"Resident" means a person who has been a resident of the State for a minimum of 2 years for purposes other than education, as determined by rule of the authority.__In determining residency, the authority shall consider:

A.__Length of residence in the State for other than tuition purposes;

B.__Secondary school attended;

C.__Legal residence of parents;

D.__Place of voting registration, if registered to vote;

E.__Place where taxes are paid; and

F.__Other indicators established by the authority.

§12152.__Nursing Education Loan Program
