Sec. 1. 30-A MRSA §3007, sub-§6 is enacted to read:

6.__Laundry.__Notwithstanding any other provision of this Title or Title 33, a municipality or person may not enact or impose an ordinance, covenant, contract provision, rule, regulation or restriction that prohibits the hanging of laundry outdoors except for reasonable health or safety purposes.
