Sec. 1. Consumer income; home-based care. Resolved: That the Department
of Human Services may not include the income of a consumer's
spouse in calculating the consumer's income in the consumer-
directed home-based care program under the Department of Human
Services, Bureau of Elder and Adult Services.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill excludes from the calculation of a consumer's income
the income of the consumer's spouse under the consumer-directed
home-based care program within the Bureau of Elder and Adult
Services within the Department of Human Services.
