| | | Sec. 1. Resolve 1997, c. 117, §1, sub-§6, amended. Resolved: That Resolve | | 1997, c. 117, §1, sub-§6, as amended by Resolve 2001, c. 63, §1, | | is further amended to read: |

| | | 6. Report. The commission shall submit an interim report, | | together with any necessary implementing legislation, to the | | First Regular Session of the 120th Legislature by December 15, | | 2000 and a final report, together with any necessary legislation, | | to the Second Regular Session of the 120th Legislature by | December 5, 2001 June 5, 2002. |

| | | Sec. 2. Retroactivity. Resolved: That section 1 of this resolve | | applies retroactively to December 5, 2001. |

| | | Emergency clause. In view of the emergency cited in the preamble, | | this resolve takes effect when approved. |

| | | This resolve extends the reporting deadline for the final | | report of the Maine Millennium Commission on Hunger and Food | | Security by 6 months to June 5, 2002. |
