Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. Fishway on Little River Dam in Cumberland County. The Department of
Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall construct a fish ladder or
similar fishway on the dam on Little River, known as Little
River Dam, located in Cumberland County near the Town of
Scarborough to provide fish passage past the dam. The
Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall manage the
dam in a way that does not contribute to flooding in the Town
of Old Orchard Beach.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill requires the Department of Inland Fisheries and
Wildlife to construct a fishway on Little River Dam located
near the Town of Scarborough and to manage that dam in a
manner that does not contribute to flooding in the Town of Old
Orchard Beach.
