Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §2951, sub-§2,
as enacted by PL 1981, c. 693, §§5
and 8, is repealed.
SUMMARY
Current law prohibits religious private schools from
receiving public funding to educate children from school
districts that do not have secondary schools. This bill
repeals that prohibition.
