| | | Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6421, sub-§10 is enacted to read: |

| | | 10. Sale of license.__A person who holds a valid Class I, | | Class II, Class III, apprentice, noncommercial or student | | lobster and crab fishing license may sell that license to | | another person as long as the purchaser possesses written | | approval from the department. |

| | | This bill would allow a person to sell that person's lobster | | and crab fishing license to a person approved by the | | Department of Marine Resources to purchase that license. |
