Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
CONCEPT DRAFT

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill is a concept draft pursuant to Joint Rule 208.

 
This bill proposes to revise regulations for boarding homes
in order to encourage the availability of this type of
housing. Currently, regulations for boarding homes may be so
strict as to discourage the establishment of new boarding
homes.
