| | | Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7101, sub-§5, śN, as enacted by PL 1999, c. 467, §1 | | and affected by §5, is amended to read: |

| | | Sec. 2. Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife directed to amend rules to allow | | licensed leashed-dog trackers to charge fee. The Department of Inland | | Fisheries and Wildlife shall amend its rules to allow a person | | with a leashed-dog tracking license to charge a fee for dog | | tracking services. |

| | | Sec. 3. Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife directed to publish list of licensed | | leashed-dog trackers in department's published hunting rules. The Department of | | Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall list all licensed leashed- | | dog trackers in any publication of hunting rules the | | department publishes that is available to the public. |

| | | This bill directs the Department of Inland Fisheries and | | Wildlife to allow a person licensed to track wounded animals | | with a leashed dog to charge a fee for the tracking service, | | adds moose and bear to the list of game animals that the | | tracker may track and requires the department to list all | | licensed leashed-dog trackers in any hunting rule publication | | the department makes available to the general public. |
