| | | Sec. 1. 30-A MRSA §3013 is enacted to read: |

| | | §3013.__Wireless communications towers and transmitters | | regulated |
|
| | | Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a municipality | | may adopt and enforce an ordinance or regulation regarding the | | placement, height, size, width and output of towers and | | transmitters of wireless communications that are located | | within the municipality's boundaries.__A copy of a local | | ordinance must be submitted to the Public Utilities Commission | | for the commission's record. |

| | | This bill authorizes municipalities to adopt and enforce | | ordinances or regulations concerning the placement, height, | | size, width and output of towers and transmitters for wireless | | communications and then submit these ordinances to the Public | | Utilities Commission for its record. |
