| | | Sec. 1. 30-A MRSA §5224-A is enacted to read: |

| | | §5224-A.__Lodging facilities prohibited |
|
| | | A development program may not include, and tax increment | | financing may not be used for, the development of a lodging | | facility, including, but not limited to, an inn, hotel or | | motel. |
|
| | | This bill prohibits the use of municipal tax increment | | financing for a lodging facility. |
